THE SUITE
On the gloomiest of days, I’ll wear a yellow crop top with denim jeans and tassel earrings for a casual look for brunch. (A girl still needs a mimosa even if there is a chance of thunderstorms outside.) For a rainy date night, a lace, midi dress with a pop color heel will have you forgetting that you weren’t able to sit pretty-by-poolside in the early afternoon, but you’ll still be in high spirits. And when you see those grey clouds rolling through when you need to head to Costco, throw on a pair of bright yellow sneakers as you’re sampling through the aisles.
I encourage you to create your own rays on the gloomy days this season. It doesn’t necessarily have to be yellow, but choose a bright color and build from that. Your mood can be uplifted by just a few color changes to your wardrobe. How do you create your own sun rays in your life? Let us know in the comments below!
