When we think of Corporate Team Building, our minds goes to Michael Scott, Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton location. While the TV show, The Office, may be a far cry from your company culture (hopefully), there is a lot to be said for corporate team building – successfully done that is.
Aloha Atlanta recently teamed up with the McKesson Corporation for a luau inspired team-building event that started with four (1) hour private hula coaching sessions at the company headquarters. A week later, we had a chance to see what each group came up with. And there wasn’t one team that didn’t surprise us! Between our coaching lessons and the actual hula competition day, each group delegated roles, worked on the material we taught, and added whole new creative elements to their dances. We don’t know how the panel of judges were able to decide on a winner! One of the things we love most is learning in unexpected places. And after working with McKesson, a corporation with great company culture - we learned a few things we thought we’d share in 3 Benefits of Team Building:
