We were so excited when So You Think You Can Dance called us to let us know about their upcoming auditions for the 11th Season of the show! For all dancers in the Atlanta, GA area, ABC's hit show will be kicking off the 2014 open auditions at the Fox Theatre on Monday, January 13th. Registration begins at 8:00 AM. If called back, dancers traveling from out of town should be prepared to stay for at least two days. Following auditions will be held in Philadelphia, New Orleans, Chicago, and ending in Los Angeles.
Created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe, So You Think You Can Dance features young and talented dancers skilled in a variety of dance styles, from ballroom to hip hop and everything in between. Each season offers an incredibly impressive array of talent and emphasizes many dancers’ ability to learn different styles and master some truly creative choreography.
Dancers either must be U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents of the U.S. or possess current legal Employment Authorization Cards enabling them to seek employment freely in the U.S. (i.e., without restrictions as to employer) by the date specified in the eligibility rules. Dancers must be no younger than 18 or older than 30y ears of age on the first day they register for auditions. Any dancer who is a minor in his/her state of residence must also have a parent or legal guardian sign all required documents.
