I'm grateful for this year's holiday season, but when I say a girl was overdue for some girl-time - Whoo! So I was uber excited to be invited to L'Occitane's Holiday Soirée hosted by Nikka Shae. Champagne & bites, amazing fragrances -oh my. If you haven't made it out to the new flagship location, L'Occitane is a pinch of Paris delivered to the heart of Buckhead. And I had the pleasure of receiving a personal tour from the Flagship's Manager, Sophia Mahmoudi - who shared all the new products and gift goodies - and even a mini massage. Rushing in from a day's work, I was a little embarrassed to get my mini hand massage - since I walked in with dry hands and let's just say, slightly overdue for a manicure. But Sophia was awesome and after her work, my luscious hands were ready to brace the winter chill once again. My favorite part of the night was sampling the fragrances. (Not all on my own skin of course.). I'm not the sharpest on the finer things in life, so I was quite impressed with myself for being able to pick up the notes of each fragrance all on my own. Apparently when I walked into L'Occitane, I walked into a aromatic garden - with various scents rooted in florals, citrus, musk, jasmine, and sandalwood. I definitely discovered a few new favorites to try! And I was super excited to try out my yummy apricot fragranced gift - Savon Solidaire Soap. Each year, L'Occitane launches a solidarity product to fight against avoidable blindness. 100% of the profits from the Savon Solidaire Solidarity Soap goes towards financing NGO's working on eye health projects in developing countries with the support of the L'Occitane Foundation. And aside from smelling absolutely delectable, the Savon Soap is gentle, infused with Shea Butter, and made my skin feel incredible - and I'm not one for bar soaps. They also have a great collection of men's products for all you last minute shoppers. ;)
